I too believe that Wordtracker is a great tool and its data can sometimes be even better than the information provided by Google AdWords section. The recommendation is not relying upon a single web tool but trying out several options at the same time. For example, after having some general information about the keywords, take a look at the top Google ranking sites and then review the competition over the net by seeing the number of results displayed.
I wouldn't pay for Wordtracker now because the keyword suggestion tools provided by PPC search engines (like Google and Yahoo) gives monetary value of keywords.
Yeah I agree, just use Google's Keyword tool. It's so much more accurate and a lot better and faster in my opinion.

i used wordracker for a while but realized that it wasn't worth paying so much as the information i got was very inaccurate. don't you know anything similar that gives better quality info? i've heard that semrush is really good has anyone tried it?
