Articles are the best way...

But first you have to be Knowledgeable in your industry...write articles on topics that people don't think of...be controversial...challenge the main-stream..

It will help to setup some serious viral traffic ....but you must endure some of the possible criticisms coming your way...

If you can hold off those with your unique ideas, you will convert many faithful followers.

Setting up a new web business nowadays is simple and very affordable compared with the real market and offline business set up but it is important to boost the page views. Article writing and submission can definitely help because although such backlinks might not be important from SEO perspectives but they can bring real visitors to the websites. PPC is also great and is not necessarily equal to spending large amounts of cash over single link clicks.

Blogging with a good knowledge of the topic.

and/or contact all the top people in your niche and
ask to interview them. make it into a product.

ask them to sell it to their lists they take 100% of
the profits.

BUT


in order to get the product they have to opt in to
your email list- you'll build a list for free.

once you have a list do a poll on what they want
and give it to them.

why do you say articles are the best way? are you saying it is easy to get traffic? ok but 500 visitors per day, you can make only $2 in adsense, so whats the point of articles site?

By far the best way is through PPC and other forms of paid advertising. All other methods take far to long to build up traffic and reach the people you need to reach.

With PPC and other paid ads you can reach your exact target market immediately and ramp up your advertising as you get more sales and thus very quickly expand your business.

This is not the easiest way by any means and certainly the most expensive route but it is highly effective.
