I am new to this site so I don't quite know my way around yet. Stay away from Fritz Maxwell! He is the most polished scam artist I have ever come across. It took him 3 months, but he eventually scammed me out of thousands of dollars. I have spoken to others with the same experience so stay away from this guy. I don't know how much info I am allowed to give on this site. Reply and I will give you more. Tell your friends, this guy is poison.

Okosh,
You are right about the DD part. Just what would you have done? I did as much DD as I felt I could and came up with nothing negative. I think that's why it's called a scam. By the way, if you had done your DD you would have known that the address you quoted for Fritz Maxwell is incorrect. The snake actually lives under a rock in Virginia. The toll free number is correct though.

Man, this site is very confusing. Two people have asked me for more info on Fritz Maxwell, but apparently I can't reply with a private message until I have 25 posts. I'll try this and hope Oskosh and Kingmond see it.
Fritz first contacted me by phone in mid December 2008. I was strictly a weekend fun bettor. I would bet $25 to $50 on 2 or 3 NFL games a weekend. He gave me 4 straight winners in college hoops and I was up about $500. I sent him $750 cash for 30 plays. My bankroll was about $2.5 dimes and he started me off betting $200 to $300 per play and usually only one play per day. At the end of the 30 plays I was up about a dime, so I sent another $750 and was quickly betting to win a nickel to $700 a play.
During this time we became friends and he gained my trust. I never caught him in a lie. Over time I shared some personal stuff with him and we seemed to have much in common. I know now that it was all part of the scam to set me up for the killshot, but he was very smooth and convincing. I had always thought I was a good judge of character, but I was very, very wrong. I genuinely liked and trusted the guy. It was a few weeks before MLB and he told me that baseball was were he could make me the most money. We talked about it for a week or two and I was convinced that he was right. I was such a fool; but believe me, he played me in small steps over a period of time and I never saw it coming.
He recommend an offshore online bookmaker and I tapped into my rapidly vanishing IRA and deposited $12 grand. The economy was starting to tank and I was losing money every day in my IRA's, so I actually thought this was a better investment than to leave the money in the IRA. Fritz even helped get me a lower rollover, so he definitely knew someone and had some pull with the bookmaker. He knew he had me then and this is where I swallowed the hook.
He told me he would talk to his people and see if he could get me a deal on a baseball package. I never even asked what the normal packge cost was, but I was assuming 2 to 3 grand. I look back on it now and just can't believe I was so gullible and stupid. I'll never forget the day I got his email. It said "good news" the normal package was $15 grand but I could have it for it for $9,500. I was simultaneously shocked, sickened and furious. I called him and he was so cool and reassuring. I told him that I was pissed and I would never have made that large a deposit had I known he wanted so much. He said that was the deal and he needed at least a partial payment to show his people I was for real. I told him I would think about it.
Now I felt I was in so deep that I had to continue with him. He had made me some money and I would never be able to reach the rollover amount to get my investment back. My money would just sit there and I was screwed. Long story gets shorter. I sent him $8 Grand in 3 installments. Once he had the money, he gave me 12 losers in the next 14 plays. I lost $5 grand and told him I was furious over the losing streak. He said he had lost a ton of money also, but it would turn around and we had the entire season ahead of us. That was the last time I ever spoke to him. He would not answer my phone calls or emails. One time I called his toll free number. He answered and hung up when he recognized my voice. I'll give you more later.
Caribebay 105,
You say, "par for the course". What do you mean? Do you know of Fritz Maxwell in particular or do you mean that people often get scammed like I did. Are there any honest sports betting "consultants" out there who are any good. Please give me your thoughts.

Even if they are honest they are still just throwing darts at the board
The ONLY way to win with sports betting is to pick winners....
Only way to pick winners is to be very lucky or to be receiving very good information on the sports you are betting on...knowledge of the sport is not important but getting good info is
If you are still looking to pay for sports pics then you should prepare yourself to be scammed again and again
