FX social network - Currensee

Hi Guys,

I thought I'd invite you all to join Currensee.

Currensee is sort of a facebook hybrid that is all about trading FX. It shows who is long and who short and shows statistics on the majority/minority.

It may be a good tool for people to confirm what the majority is doing.
They do prefer experienced traders but everyone is welcome to join.

IT IS FREE, and this is not an ADVERT.

Its simple, you sign up and post your profile and some trades/bias etc, add to discussion and make friends with the same interests.

Its a new company but seems they have hit a real niche in the forum base for forex trading.

Hmm, with social networks being the in thing on the net, this looks interesting. A nice place to meet and talk about the market.

No worries. If anyone wants to be on my 'trading team' which is an aspect of currensee, pm me your details and I'll send you an invite. This means you see your teams success vs the general population success.. and you can also see your own success. Its quite interesting.

Other than that it has a neat dashboard showing the bias and whether its winning or losing. Dow charts, gold charts. Crude prices. Discussions of opinion.

Its been a pretty good experience overall, and I am starting to use it more and more as things go along.

sO I thought I would post an update on this site.

As you can see, the community is of a decent calibre, trading %ages are above 50% which is not bad. Avg gain isn't overly large though. But the max is huge. The dashboard is great and they are currently changing the methods of analysis of accounts. Its good fun to socialise there too.

i dont see the point of this except to take a look at sentiment or trader reaction.

Hey I saw ads for Currensee on Facebook and want to check it out now. How big is the community now?

Community is approx 7000 at the moment. Not all of them are presenting their trades though to the rest of the community.

I noticed facebook had it too. Which is odd for them to be advertising competition, but hey, whatever works right? lol. Its all free anyway, and pretty interesting. And they are doing some deal with reuters too.
