Im curious as to peoples opinions about Brian Marsden. Just opinion, no need for factual information in this thread. Not that any factual information ever shows up, but thats beside the point and has discussed ad nauseum.

Given the current situation at PIPS, I see a few different scenarios for Mr. Marsden. Which one do you think is closest to the truth?

A) An honest businessman who is doing his best to see that all members get paid. The worst thing he is guilty of is a poor business plan. He has been met with bad luck at every turn in the last 8 months and is struggling to make things right.

B) He is in it for the big score. A few million dollars more and he can finally buy that island in the South Pacific and disappear off the face of the Earth. Hundreds of millions of dollars split up between a small group of people. Its been his intention from the beginning to fleece as many people as possible in a scam of epic proportions.

C) A small time swindler who is in it over his head. Sure this whole PIPS thing was designed to make him some money. A lot of money. But he had no idea this thing would snowball as it has. Hes not smart enough to work a way out of this thing and has no idea how to extract himself with the money without ending up in jail or worse.

I lean towards option C. The silence on his part leads me to believe he has no clue what to do. Opening up small businesses such as the Bistro and the kids bible is nothing more than a stall to keep people off his back until he figures out how to exit stage left. The Patriot act has been another godsend that has bought him a little more time.

There is an easy way to get people to stop repeating themselves. Straighten the damn program out. Put some information out instead of silence for weeks and months on end. Make some information public.

"Good news is coming" and "I know what is going on but I cant tell you" is doing nothing to quell peoples fears.

Since I asked for nothing but opinions here, Ill give you another. You are just as much a crminal as Brian Marsden for promoting and being part of perpetuating an obvious Ponzi scam.

So I am a criminal for stating my opinion but you are not, right! I have not been promoting Pip's but defending my position. And since I still pay into Social security which is the largest Ponzi in the world, I am a crook! right!

I tend to lean towards A, but with one reservation. I don't believe there is such an entity as a totally honest businessman.
Anyone in business (myself included) is screwing someone somewhere along the line, be it the customer, taxman or other businesses.

I have been in Pips since the beginning and before (yes I am what you call a Pioneer) but before you start shouting that I am the one who scammed and took all the latecomers money, the only money I have taken is $1000, my seed and the same profit, (and no I did not advertise for members.)
This is not because of withdrawal problems but because I have not needed to request withdrawal and have let the money ride.

I am there until the final outcome, whatever it may be.

I am sorry, I can't go with C, this thing was too big from the start.

So I will stick wth A until the final outcome, and if it goes wrong? then I will have to admit to B.

Just my humble opnion.

Almostgotscammed gave us 3 scenario's and asked for our honest opinions.
Straight away you have to jump in with your usual one line.

If you are not capable of debating or forming an opinion with explanations then please go and hijack some other thread that has the same mentallity as yours.

This thread offers one of the rare oportunities for reasonable people to engage in open debate without the usual slanging match.
