Default Can Liberty Reserve Shut Down?

I am now spending 3-4 hours a day analyzing and investing in HYIPs, so I would hate to see this money disappear for some reason other than bad choice of investment. Is there a possibility that LR will shut down and all the money will disappear? I am asking because if YES: I would periodically withdraw a portion of the money. If NO: I would reinvest everything in there to maximize the profit.

Never because large funds are parked in the organisation. When a problem occured in the e-gold ltd ,users don't lose theor funds,But the value of their e-gold eroded considerably.

I would never say never. It is possible, but very unlikely in my opinion.

Thanks for your reply! What do you make of these stories about accounts being blocked selectively and requests by Liberty Reserve to send notarized documents to Costa Rica?
Don't get me wrong, I am happy that we finally have an e-currency system (LR) that allows HYIP investing (in late 2007 I investigated HYIP and decided against it due to e-gold blocking accounts). I just want to make sure I won't be separated from my money.

If you don't want to risk being separated from your money, keep it next to your coco pops

LR and every other pps has good/bad press. So does the intersection up the road where I cross. I'll be up there tomorrow crossing.

In my opinion, as governments get increasingly tight about controlling money movement, there is a chance for any e-currency to disappear. I don't believe LR would just disappear to scam and run with the money, but there is always a possibility of getting shut down.

Unfortunately we live in a time where governments are getting incredibly paranoid about tax evasion, money laundry and such. That to me would be the only risk when it comes to e-currencies.

you know, in the past, E-bullion shut down and all money disappeared, So i think, may be libertyreserve will have the same problem with E-bullion
May be, in 2020 or later.

You mean the owner of LR will cut his ex-wife's throat on a parking lot and get caught? LOL that would be some coincidence
