Default Paypal not looking at IP-addresses ....

A guy from a reputable firm claims that paypal does not look at your IP-address when you log in to block your account , if they did, business people who travel a lot would
be in problems all the time...that is his argument ,I have read on this forum otherwise....

I believe the key is registering the account on an non-shared IP from the PayPal country and if occasionally you use another IP you would be fine.

I registered my account with a VPN IP shared by many and my account was immediately limited as soon as I requested the first withdrawal. I was even asked by PayPal if I was traveling because of my IP. I now use a dedicated IP and have never had another issue.

Same here, used VPN that is located outside my country, but have not problem (used Rank of IPs) till the time when I login from another country and then account was immediately limited.
IMO they are monitor IP location.

I have a friend who was blocked when they moved to Japan. They can't get another account.
This is why there are these places http://www.paypalsucks.com/ and http://www.paypalwarning.com/

My friend travels friquently to Russia and because of paypal takes his laptop with him and pays roaming charges rather than using Russian local internet access. It may be depence on turnover. If you are just a user that buys something from time to time, they probably do not care.

My friend would use it a few times a month. BLOCKED. I would recommend a dedicated VPN out of your country address. https://www.intl-alliance.com/ These guys have VPNS all over the world. I have never seen such a huge network.

You have a choice of being the only one on the IP. You can also get a virtual machine from them in the country of choice and run everything from there. Regarding contacting them, select "Contact" and fill out the form.

yohost.org has some vpns but I think only a couple countries. Just find someone that isn't a reseller of it. Also, the cheap ones are just that, cheap. You get what you pay for with a VPN or VM. I think they allow two connections at once as well, if you have two machines going. IntlAlliance has a zero tor policy, don't use their stuff for spam or anything like that. They don't like the black hat.
