Default I've got a stupid question

I know it'll sound stupid.

But if a HYIP, promotes with e.g 21% daily for 5 days.

Does that mean you'll only make 5% profit from those 5 days, or does it mean 105% profit?

new to this forum, so I've got no idea if people troll here, but I am serious.

It's called Net profit
In fact you get 105% profit (21% daily 5 days)

100% Your principal + 5% Net profit

Thanks alot guys!

so if I pay $100 to a rate at 300% after 30 days, that would leave me with approximately $300+- on the 30th day?

It depends on what the site says.

If the site says no principle is returned, then you earn 5% profit.
If the site says principle will be returned once the investment period is over, then you will earn 105% profit.

As you can tell, the second one is usually a sign of a very short-lasting HYIP.

There are two cases in this situation :

1) If a site offers 21% daily for 5 days, and they mention at the end of 5th day, they return principal. That means you make 105% in Profits and your principal returned.

2) If a site offers 21% daily for 5 days, and they mention that principal is not returned, that means you get 5% in total profit in 5 days.

So in the 2nd case you are losing? Or I am wrong?

You put 100 for 5 days and get 5% in total profit - how much is that?

Yes, you are wrong.

If you put in $100 you get $105 after 5 days.
