Plimus has that kind of solution (and free to use, just pay a commission per transaction).

Honestly, I think you're going to go with a high risk merchant account provider and have someone knowledgeable in PHP or other language set it up for you. But be careful with who you choose - you'll understand why if you think a bit about it.

By merchant / merchant account, people usually refer to bank card processing, be it credit, debit or prepaid.

Yes. But make sure you put apart buyers' reviews (since they were scammed by the seller - not by the billing company) from sellers' reviews (getting ripped off by the processing company)

The 1st should not matter to you, if you think about it. Clickbank has lots of negative reviews from angry buyers... usually, due to dubious claims made by the sellers.

Are you licensed to offer financial advice? I'm not criticising but it does make a difference when it comes to payment gateways.

Well, there are some vendors that offers this kind of services and accepting payments (like kagi) for a financial advice. Accepting these cards also enhances a Merchant’s credibility in the marketplace.
