If you had $100,000 but could only invest it in one stock which is to be sold on year from today, which stock would it be and why?

I'd probably go with VZ, verizon. Their Dividend yield is great and the company is still growing into new markets. Looks for their stock in increase by this time next year and also pay a fine dividend.

Union resources. They are about to release their banakble feasbility study for their Iranian zinc mine. By the end of next year, they will have a working mine producing 50,000 tonnes a year, gradually ramping up to 500,000 tonnes a year. The market hasnt come close to factoring in the potential for growth here yet.

Personally I wouldn't invest with them as in my opinion I don't want to support something that strips people of what little freedom they have left ~ But the returns are high, I have friends who have invested with them from the beginning and have done extremely well!

I guess you just have to weigh up your values?

Brian, Union is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (they would be in jail if they were trying to operate from the US, the Iranian embargo and all). This unfortunately means that you would be going to jail if you invested in it too as a US citizen.

First I'd have to do extensive research. I doubt many people on here have done that. Either a small, up and coming national company or energy stocks (such as Exxon-Mobil).

Actually I've been following Applied Digital Solutions since 1996 -- I probably have more facts about this company than your average google search! I have studied them since 1996 for the fact I study the book of Revelations in the Bible and I cross referenced to gain insight into what some profess "The Mark of The Beast" to be this human microchip which this company produces -- It's inevitable this company will succeed monetry wise as their product has been documented in time and WILL come to pass -- and if you had taken time to read all of my post you will have seen I wrote:

I myself have NOT invested with them but I have evidence that your gains with them are large and will grow in time and FAST! And yes, you say scary! This is so true and this is why I watch them like a hawk! Ones future does not have to lay in the hands of companies like these but with mind control so obvious these days, it's hard to warn people of the dangers -- Let me rephrase that, it's so hard to warn the 'SHEEP' of the dangers!
