Last October I got a free position in the $5 Pure Investor as a paid member in TUMS, and I never really cared or believed in PI...even it has been around for at least a year.
The concept of an HYIP / matrix hybrid has never really worked on the Internet: Cases in point: The clearly fraudulent La Club Prive (which was found guilty in court and forced to pay back investors a group total of $2 million in 2000), the suspicious PILL (Prosper International League Limited) in Winter Park, Florida (whatever happened to them?), and the honest but badly executed CashEvolution (2001-2002).
CE was the only one I joined, and CEO Craige Mayo and his marketing director Dave McQuiod actually phone me from New Zealand when their program was in pre-launch and that was months before the HYIP element was introduced long after they started it and changed the format. CashEvolution was completely overhauled twice, including the design of their website as well. It ended in disaster for the owners, but fortunately we members lost very little money and hundreds of us in pre-launch joined for free (the small monthly fee didn't kick in for a long time). After the first month it was charged, I decided to cancel my membership.
Pure Investor came on the scene a year later, and what I want to know is: Has anyone made any serious $$$$ from it? I sure haven't seen any serious testimonials about PI. I didn't promote it one bit in 6 months, and through spillover or "cloning" as they call it, one person I never heard of turned up in my matrix. Of course that's not enough to do a payout!
One of the other reasons PI can't be trusted: Now all of a sudden they've launched this new costlier program called PIPS. As a member of PI, last week I received an E-mail asking me to pay to upgrade to PIPS. If I did not, I would lose my PI position. Well, fine --- let them have it!

I won't be joining Probably Intentional Ponzi Scam and I hope not too many of you aren't either.
The biggest warning sign is their claim that $60,000 was stolen from their E-Gold account
seconds after they desposited the money! Yeah, right....
