What has everyones experience been with funding your e-gold account?

Has anyone found a good e-gold exchange program ie. lowest comissions/fees?

I agree that EMO is good. Plus you will be able to use EMO for 12dp soon too.

But the problem with EMO is that you have to pay two sets of fees; making it expensive!

First you pay a fee of 2.5%, or there abouts, to fund your EMO account! Then you have to pay a 4% fee for converting those imported funds into e-gold in order to fund your e-gold account!

Wouldn't it be better to just fund it with an e-currency exchanger straight out? I don't understand!

If you live in the US I think it´s a lot easier to fund egold. But we who live outside have to go through an exchanger. And the surf programs don´t except other than egold or Stormpay or sometimes intgold or something, unfortunately.

i would recommend London Gold Exchange. the most stable gold sxchanger so far. they charge you 4% only for any amount. However, you need to be their verified member. funding is via cash deposit or wire transfer.

Apparently it performs e-gold purchases for 2%! Which is more than competitive.

I was wondering if anyone had used them before when funding their e-gold account? Are there any extra fees you incur for the transaction?

Icegold looks pretty good! 2% is very reasonable!

I read on there site that the fee for an incoming inteternational bank wire in Australian dollars is $8.71 AUD!

I assume this is a fee charged ON TOP of the 2% exchange fee, as the graph doesn't refer to any e-currency, just the type of currency you will be wiring!

With that in mind, Icegold gets better the more you exchange, because their exchange % is so low. However, unless you wire them in Estonian kroon, you will pay a fee! GoldEx, who charges 3.5% (but no fee) is actually cheaper for exchanging smaller amounts! However Icegold does quickly overtake exchangers as your amount increases because of that 2%!

I assume you have used Icegold! Was the 2% + the currency fee all that you paid? Were there any more fees incurred at all?
