Hi everyone:
We all want to know how good a tipster really is before taking his services... but some of the problems are:
a) tipsters lose money by giving away their tips
b) tipsters fake their records and the bettors lose money
How do we solve this? Someone said that a competition using a moderator for holding the results can do it.. but I think have a reasonable solution
Just send me $50 to my e-gold and I'll ...... Nah! just kidding
Do you know what MD5 is? In a nutshell, MD5 is a signature (very very long ) for a computer file, it could be a mp3, DVD ISO, docs, even .txt it doesn't matter. The point is that with it, you can check if the original file has been modified or not
WTF!?:
So, I propose this...
Let's say we have "AbsolutlyLoosers" our new premium tipster
He put all his tips in a notepad file (.txt), then only posts the MD5 hash (signature)
of that .txt file for everyone to see it.
The next day, after achieving an impresive 101% winning rate, he uploads the
same text file in the thread, so we can see how marvelous tipster he is. So now everyone can check if the text file uploaded is the real file he used the day before to generate the hash....
- tipster happy because he didnt give away the tips
- bettors happy because they have true evidence of their stats
Any comments are welcome...
