I'm new to the HYIP forum and I'm spending sometime to learn more about this world here on talkgold and other forums

Just wanted to know from your personal experience what's the success ratio when investing on HYIPs. I mean, on 10 investments chosen by you how many of them were scams and how many paid ?

Well..I've had about a 50-50 success ratio in the last month with my selection of HYIP....Lucky for me that I didnt make any large financial commitments to any of the programs that turned out to be SCAMS...like..HYIP.US.COM(which I only had $10 invested with)...I'm in profit at the moment with the programs that have paid-off ...But, in saying that.."TOMORROWS ANOTHER DAY" and I could be back here tomorrow posting a 30-70 success ratio..(Let's hope not)

Since last january:

astra-hyip: loss
bustabank: loss
syncfunds: loss
verdafunds: loss
offshoreclub: paid (Great profit)
solidinvestment: paid (but not yet in profit)
west-business: paid (but not yet in profit)
nationalprofit: loss
bustabank2: paid (Great profit)
wolfunds: paid

February was a very bad month because of Stormpay fiasco and several hacking issues.
Meanwhile, March is a very good month
I am still waiting for other payouts from other HYIP, but things are getting better and better; I guess I learnt from my past mistakes.

Yup, coz those site only use e-gold as their payment processor. And thanks God, because my country is in sp black list, so I dont open sp as my payment processor. Before I invest, I run DD first on every site listed. If whois database are correct, I invest, if not, better stay away. Those site that I listed above is pass DD.

The success ratio in choosing HYIP isn't relevant. You need to implement money management to lower your risk.

I totally agree with you, meanwhile timing is also important with HYIP.
Money management also applies for stocks and betting.

On 10 investments 7:3 is a pretty healthy stats for a good investor.

If one can manage to maintain a 8:2 average ratio of "paying-not paying" investments, i guess it would be a worthy venture. It's my first full month in the hyip world, I made 16% net of $1,000 investment (16 programs). If not for 3 programs running with my money, It would have been a 27% profit. A 20% monthly return would be a good enterprise. Imagine you get to double your money in 5 months. I have much to learn, one thing i discovered here is i order to minmimise the risk, invest a little in many programs. Don't put all the eggs in one basket. More power to everyone.
