By popular demand...Here's the fee schedule comparing the top three debit card providers for the average consumer who will fund the account with $2001 in e-gold monthly and then withdraw it via an ATM:

Fidex Maestro Card Annual Fees:

$144 - Maintenance Fee
$286 - Withdrawal Fee
$0 - Funding Fee
Total: $430

X-Changers Annual Fees:

$48 - Maintenance Fee
$18 - Withdrawal Fee
$696 - Funding Fee
Total: $762

WM Cards Annual Fees:

$89 - Maintenance Fee
$600 - Funding Fee
$360 - Withdrawal Fee
Total: $1049

WMCards has the highest fees in the business, by a huge margin. X-Changers has an average set of fees, and their "no ID documents" policy opens up some serious possibilities. Fidex Group has the lowest fees in the business, offers a connected "trust" account, and is located offshore with sufficient shuffling to keep you and your funds safe.

So proud of your calculations, you had to post them in two separate threads. Good work though.

I like the look of the x-changers card, but Fidex's Privacy Account seems to be the best bet in the long run. Plus "Panamanian Corporation" just rolls off the tongue so fluidly.

I figured that there are likely potential buyers looking for information of this type who did not read the other thread. The title of this thread is sure to let them know what to expect.

Really? I can't stand it. It's the same card offered by CashCards.net and several other companies, including PoolofGold. Green background with a giant dollar sign in the middle...ugh!

Really depends on the type of income you're generating, where you live, and what you plan to do with your money. If you're going to be withdrawing over $100k in cash per month while your activities are bieng monitored and don't want you bank or any government agency to know about it, the Privacy account is pretty good. Otherwise, the Maestro account should more than fit your needs.

You think that's grotty? Mine's even worse. Plain dark green... with a small light green dollar sign in the upper LH corner. Yuck!

The data entered in his table is not exact.
For instance, www.wmcards.com has only $19 annual maintenance fee, instead of published $89.

Partyn  , are you working on e-fidex?

No, it has a "special offer" maintenance fee for THIS YEAR if you purchase it by the end of June, which will be bumped to the "normal" $89 for next year, and the year after, and the year after...even if you count their discounted fee for this year, they're still $300-$600 more expensive than the competition.

This coming from a guy with a post count of "6", all six of which are ads for WMCards.com, with false info (your comment about their only fee being a funding fee).

Partyn,

You are saying this, because you don't have other arguments

You just see a dangeous competitor in www.wmcards.com
Just admit it

Probably you are working for e-fidex or x-changers

No, i'm certain that the following facts are good enough arguments against WMCards.com.

1) Highest Funding Fees in the business.
2) Only company with a withdrawal fee: 1.5% adds up FAST as shown above.
3) Considers it a "discount" to provide free balance inquiries, which the competition has always done, free of charge.
4) Has a "discount" order price of $19, while X-Changers costs the same, and Fidex has always charged $20.

1) Read the above reply for reasons why WMCards isn't a dangerous competitor for ANYONE.
2) I don't work for anyone...anyone who has read my posts knows this. I simply know a bad deal when I see one, so does everyone else. Ever wonder why you're the only "WMCards cheerleader" here? Lets see, a post count of 8, all praising WMCards, I wonder who YOU work for?

What to eat, what to drink, what to think ... which card to choose

Let people think for themselves

I'm sorry, I missed the part where I was forcing anyone to pick a card. I could have SWORN that I listed a comparison of the top three debit cards in the industry, listing all of the good points and bad without bias.
