How to prevent stealing my email password

You email password is stolen by

-hidden trojan/keylogger on your system
-phishing site
-MITM attack via wireless or Tor exit nodes
-SSL counterfeit signatures which are in the wild everywhere now thanks to Comodo

Paranoia aside use a high entropy password and don't type it in on a questionable machine that could be backdoored/zombied/trojaned whatever. A liveCD helps if your email is really important and you're moving lot's of huge paypal money or something

I advise all of the files scanned for viruses and do not send their data to unknown address

1. make a strong password with capital letters and numebrs
2. Never use the same password to other sites.
3. Don't give it to anyone!

and don't write it down. I guess if you forget it make sure you can recover it.

It makes more sense to write it down, in a notebook or something to make sure you can recover it.

Just don't store passwords in notepad, etc. on your computer.

You know people, I believe in destiny...no, seriously! If it is your destiny to lose mail - you will! Anyway, it is important to create a strong password, I know for sure that dot "." is a really good to make any password stronger!
