Knowing that making money online blogging, doing affiliate marketing and many other means of making online involve traffics. No traffic no conversion, Means no money. In that contest, how far has traffic exchange get help you get traffic to your website. Have you try it before? Does it work for you? Share how you use it effectively and what you think it work very well.
I will start with myself. I have use a traffic exchange services a couple of times and it is usually good for getting sign up in my own opinion. Or let me say I use it to get a lot of sign up for my affiliate website. I make sure my text ad or banner is good enough to let exchangers want to check it out.

I never tried traffic exchange because i never thought they were targeted.
Maybe they are effective for some niches but some people report that its a waste
of time for their niche.

I have tried traffic exchanges in the past and have never had any success but I suppose it all depends on what you are trying to sell

I exchanged traffic with other websites, but it was privately arranged. I was approached by other website owners and offered an exchange of links. I was naive not to ask where they gonna put my link. One website put my on the page that is practically impossible to fine, if you are just a user and comming from their front page. Funny enough, that website was still brinning me some hits. You have to make sure you know where your link is gonna be.

I briefly tried it before in the past and can't really tell if it worked. I thought it was poor quality traffic but I may give it a try again because some people say that certain traffic exchanges can yield results.

I think Traffic exchange is not good for SEO, it's cost bandwidth and nothing result

Not sure I agree with that, my Twitter following is quite targeted and the traffic it generates is pretty good quality really.
