A website that gets a lot of visitors perfoms best as far as making money. If you base your success solely on the theme/topic you will struggle.

The key to earn a lot of money is the CONTENT. Make your OWN content in a nice layout and update the site sometime

I personally think that any website can make a lot of money it's really upto the owner. You have to find something that actually interests you thus giving good quality content.
