Default Bank transfer -> E-Gold or LR??

Hello, I'm looking to get about $50 put into e-gold, but I'm looking for a cost affective way of doing so. I noticed Goldex.com offered Bank Transfers for a $5 fee, which seems to be pretty good compared to other places charging high fees for WU, Bank Wire, etc. However I've read some bad things in this forum regarding Goldex.com. I want to stay away from WU, or bank wires, because both methods have high fees and I'd get less than $30 worth of e-gold from my $50. I'm considering using Liberty Reserve, so any info regarding either of them would be great.

Any suggestions? I'm looking for a reputable dealer only.

For such a tiny amount, you might simply mail cash.

Consider a USPS money order. Be warned that your exchanger will take the time to check to be sure it's not counterfeit.

USPS really needs to address their poor security features. They copied everything else from Canada Post, why not the money order security too?

cheers!

I did that the first time a couple of years ago....through this site at that. Unfortunately they don't allow it now and I don't want to get in trouble for asking.

There is a very good exchanger in Texas. Look for vertoro or ezez.

Thanks for the info. I did try contacting them, however it seems they don't respond to their e-mails.
