After Brics just collapsed, I thought i'd let everyone know my predictions for scams of the year to BE.

*that means they will be closed by the end of 2008*

OGfund (unfortunately... it looks nice but we all know... *Sigh*)

Mmmm, its 7 months till the end of the year. 99.99 % of the 'programs' that are currently paying will be dead by then. They are all scams, a ponzi that is still paying is still a scam in my book.

I predict that a human being will be nominated as President of the US.........

I know, it gets quite passionate in there

But not having any particular bent on who is the best or more capable, I'm convinced that Hillary, Obama and the rest are Human. Gordon Brown isn't the greatest PM we've ever had, but I have no doubt he's human.....

Ponzi or not, it's a matter of probability/maths that a program paying more than 1% daily sooner or later fails. To generate such returns, the admin would have to do risky leverage trading which can easily eat the entire funds if the position runs against him. Briefly: Ponzi or not, scam or not: an HYIP will fail after a while.
