You could try asking PC Protection's support to see if they will come out with an update to make it compatible with Chrome.
Thanks mate...

I think the incompatibility issue you have mentioned is relevant to the recent web options because most developers are still creating and developing scripts and web based applications for the major browsing softwares like the Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Opera. Since Google Chrome is regarded as a rather newcomer to the web browsing world, it will take some time before web developers offer exclusive packages that are compatible with the software.
Still no sign of it for the Mac (despite being promised for the first half of 2009), but if you happen to be a PC and Google Chrome user, you''ll be pleased to hear that that the browser is getting an update to what's being dubbed Google Chrome 2.
Based on user feedback, Google has made its super-fast browser even faster, throwing in a few of the most requested features and changes too. According to the internet giant, Chrome now packs a new version of WebKit and an update to its JavaScript engine, which means interactive web pages will run even faster - even if you have loads of other tabs on the go. It's also more stable, with over 300 bugs that have caused crashes fixed since the launch eight months back. Which does make you wonder how stable it actually was at launch.
In terms of new features, Chrome now has an improved new tab page, with the option to remove embarrasing thumbnails, along with a full screen mode and a form autofill option, plus a few other minor improvements that enhance overall performance.
Want the new version? Well, you'll have it soon enough, with an automatic update pushing through the changes for all existing Google Chrome users.
have you got access to IE on the same computer? If so try it with that and then go into the proxy options to see if it automatically fills in some proxy values - eg localhost 8040 or whatever and then transfer the same into chrome under the hood options.
