What is this?

This is a method of sniffing your browsing history without using Javascript. If you haven't cleaned your browsing history recently, just click "Start Scan" and the system will get to work.

I ran the test and it found 1 entry.... (Obviously having scripts enabled is not good FOR MANY REASONS which is why i usually surf w/o them)


I ran the test again WITH SCRIPTS DISABLED and it found 0!!!! (Right now i have 12 history items)

It ends up timing out on the frame and says

"Service Temporarily Unavailable


The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. "

Im on Win98se using IE6 (With MyIE2 in front)

Right now im on XP using Firefox 1.5 and 0 ENTRIES WERE FOUND (Both with and without scripts)

Your browser is seriously out of date, Firefox latest release is 3.0.11 I believe.

Yes but FF1.5 is safer (FF2 and 3 are vulnerable)

Can you please expand on your findings?

Firefox is constantly updated. Yeah, there's some bugs in the latest version but Mozilla are aware of them, they list them. Why do you suppose they would move on (and on) from version 1.5 if that was so perfect?

Please can you tell me what was so good (and stable) about version 1.5 that updated versions are lacking?

I note that yesterday you were using IE6 and Win98SE? Were you serious? Do you have electricity or is your computer steam driven or wind up?

Oh man, the greatest cause of vulnerabilities is not updating your browser to the latest version and by running IE.

Do yourself a favour, dump IE and get the latest version of Firefox. Once you've done that maybe your posts in "PC Security" will be taken seriously.

Well i read on that other thread ppl were saying FF2 and 3 are vulnerable to this history thing......

When i ran the test with FF1.5 IT WAS NOT!! (Even with scripts enabled)

Newer isnt always better my friend (I hope im not stepping on your toes,i dont wanna do that!)

Please do not use IE + do not use Win98SE...
