I have been told by the bank that such a card can be funded with only putting the IBAN # in the wire instructions, no name needed

Will all banks execute such a wire ?

I thought that only wire instructions with IBAN # AND account name could be done...

In the past I had such a card issued by a Polish bank as a gift card and at least with this card it required a personal name for it to be posted to the card -- we tried a corporate name and no name and it bounced.
