you are correct, it's the same way in the stock market. I stop trading and close most of my short positions due to the same reason. all the big firms pull out there money and the stock market gets really slow. there is a thing called the "January effect" that happens after the holidays also.

seems to me the worst time to invest is late spring/early summer as so many close down for the holidays! lmao
This is obviously a northern hemisphere thing, but I guess much of the internet public is north of the equator.
Just like the stockmarket.

A lot of people here would confirm that xmas time 2004 was a time of major changes!

This is true of online marketing in general, a lot of online markets report a drop in sales around the end of the year...
