My Liberty Reserve account was Hacked!

Dear All,

This morning when I logged into my Liberty Reserve account I noticed my personal welcome message have changed and hacked by hackers. I can't believe that the API is enabled. I'm not a Merchant. After all this happened I will not continue to use Liberty Reserve account and any services from Liberty Reserve company. I totally loose all of my confidence in Liberty Reserve company.

I use SpySweeper Anti-Spyware Software to remove cookies and any spy wares from my computer everyday. Also I have changed my other e-currency account password immediately.

I would like to know what should I do now? How is it possible to transfer the Liberty Reserve USD from my Liberty Reserve account to my other e-currency account? I'm thinking of abandoning my Liberty Reserve account.

I would appreciate if you could help me.

I had contacted Liberty Reserve company's staff by "Live Chat" today, and they told me to send an e-mail to the Abuse Department. I have sent an e-mail to their Abuse Department and will wait for their reply.

Dear All,

I have Good News!

I have submitted an exchange request from Liberty Reserve to AlertPay from my account at xChanger company's website on October 18th, 2010. I have received AlertPay USD into my AlertPay account today on October 18th, 2010.

I will not use my Liberty Reserve account anymore and I will contact Liberty Reserve company's staff to close my Liberty Reserve account after 56 days not including Saturday and Sunday.

I think the most important thing is to be able to transfer Liberty Reserve USD into my AlertPay account. I'm very happy now.

With LR you better have 2 accounts, one with which we work with the programs, one in which amounts are transferred, it must have no contact with any program. Just a dishonest scammer/programme introduce its SCI / API spy into an account and emptied it!! Anyway I prefer to work with AP which is much more serious than LR...!

Thank You for your advice! It is greatly appreciated.

I have previously used most of my money to purchase shares from some businesses and I only have USD$18.78 remaining in my Liberty Reserve account. The remaining Liberty Reserve USD was transferred to my Alertpay account. I can't even check all of my past transaction history from my Liberty Reserve account. Some of my address has been deleted more than half.

I think I will make a request to Liberty Reserve company's staff to close my Liberty Reserve account soon. I will never use Liberty Reserve account or other services from Liberty Reserve company again.

Yes, I agree with you. AlertPay company is better than Liberty Reserve company.

Dear All,

I have made a Close my Liberty Reserve account request by sending an e-mail with my Liberty Reserve account details to Liberty Reserve company today on October 20th, 2010. Therefore I have thought about it again and think it is not necessary for me to wait after 56 days to close my Liberty Reserve account.
