Value Chain
Value Chain
This is the process by which a firm will start out production with raw materials, use different means to refine, or produce an item, and then sell it as a finalized item. As you can imagine, the value of the item(s) increases as you go down the chain. You may start out with scrap metal, and some other items, and then finish with a new car. The value of the new car is by far higher than the value of the input (raw materials).
