We recently became aware of a major Security Leak that will compromise your FLO accounts if action on your part isn***39;t taken immediately***33; What is paramount for you to understand is that this security leak is In Your Own Computers, not within FLO***39;s secure website. Unfortunately, low level security on some members PC***39;s has resulted in their accounts being compromised. Before this happens again you must all take a serious look at how you***39;re going to resolve this. This demands a serious look at what you***39;re doing that puts yourselves at risk of losing hundreds of thousands of dollars over the next few years.
Have you ever asked yourselves how you would prove to FLO that your account is actually yours if it***39;s compromised? Because of Our High Level of Security, Your Anonymity and Privacy is locked up tight. There Is No way you could prove it to us without timely and costly research, documented evidence from your e-currency accounts, and countless other pieces of information we***39;d need in order to assist you. The most sobering fact, however, is that once your funds have been stolen, they***39;re gone. The Disclaimer that each one of you signed when you joined FreelandOpps clearly states:

It is imperative that you are aware that Low Level Security on computers can ultimately lead to compromised accounts. It happens all of the time with personal checking accounts, credit cards, and any other business where your money and identity can be stolen online. Having a High Level of Security will ensure that your funds are safe and the program as a whole continues to run anonymously, securely and privately. Continuing to have a Low Level of Security is irresponsible, not only to yourselves but to every other member at FLO. If you want to move to the Private Program and really be IN control of your funds... then you MUST ENSURE that your computer is secure and can NOT be compromised. That***39;s responsibility. So please Take the time, Make the time to attend the PC Security trainings, take All of the advice given, and do everything possible to ensure your future with FLO is a continuing success.
We suggest you check your account daily for suspicious activity***33;***33;***33; If you have auto compound turned on to 100% or 50% or any percent and it is now set to 0%, there is a clue. Check your calendar and make sure to DELETE your Welcome letter. This is on the date that you joined FreelandOpps***33; This has all the necessary information for a theif to take control of your account. Print it out and save it in a safe place RIGHT NOW, DON‘T WAIT***33;***33;***33; Change all of your passkeys NOW***33;***33;***33; Everyone should change their passkeys on a regular basis as a normal security and privacy habit***33; Use long passkeys that are at least 10 characters long, that have special characters in them like %***036;*#@ with a combination of upper and lower case letters.
Five signs that your computer may be infected with spyware or adware viruses:
1. Popup windows
2. Frequent computer crashes
3. Strange hard drive/modem behavior
4. Unusually slow computer and/or Internet connection
5. Stolen credit card numbers, identity theft, or phone charges to 1-900 numbers
Even if you notice none of these signs, Spyware is probably present on your computer. The US National Cyber Security Alliance estimates that 91% of all PCs are infected with Spyware. It often sits idle on your computer, waiting for a preset time to strike you or other computers on the Internet.

How Do I Boot Into Safe Mode?
SUMMARY
Safe Mode is a special diagnostic mode that bypasses Windows startup files, allowing you to fix problems that are keeping your computer from functioning normally. Only the keyboard, mouse, and VGA display drivers are loaded when running in Safe Mode. Other devices, including the CD-ROM, parallel ports, and serial ports may not be available.
SOLUTION
For each version of Windows, there are two ways to boot the computer to Safe Mode. We suggest that you try the "F8" key method listed first, and use the alternate only if needed.
If your computer is running Windows 95
- From the Windows Start menu, go to Shut Down and click Restart.
- As the computer restarts, watch for a message that reads Starting Windows 95...
Note: You***39;ll see this message while the screen is still text-only before any Windows splash screens appear.
- When this message appears, immediately press F8.
- From the Windows Start-up menu, type the number for the Safe Mode option or press F5.
Note: If the Start-up menu does not appear, restart your computer and repeat Steps 1 through 3.
- Wait for your desktop to appear. Your computer will run slower, and your icons will appear larger with fewer colors. The words Safe Mode appear in all corners of your screen. Make the necessary repairs (for example, uninstall programs or devices).
- When the repairs are done, restart the computer, and allow it to boot normally.
Alternate:
- From the Windows Start menu, click Shut Down.
- Click Restart in MS-DOS mode and click OK.
- From the C:***092; prompt, type WIN /D:M and press Enter.
If your computer is running Windows 98 or Windows ME
- From the Windows Start menu, go to Shut Down and click Restart.
- As the computer restarts, press and hold the CTRL key.
Note: On some keyboards you can press and hold the flying Window key. On some computers, the F8 key can be used instead of the CTRL key.
From the Windows Start-up menu, type the number for the Safe Mode option or press F5.
- Wait for your desktop to appear. Your computer will run slower, and your icons may appear larger with fewer colors. The words Safe Mode appear in all corners of your screen. Make the necessary repairs (for example, uninstall programs or devices).
When the repairs are done, restart the computer, and allow it to boot normally.
Alternate:
- From the Windows Start menu, click Run.
- In the Open field, type MSCONFIG and click Ok.
- On the General tab, click the Advanced button.
- Check Enable Startup Menu.
- Click Ok twice and restart your computer.
- On the Microsoft Windows Startup Menu, use your arrow keys, highlight Safe Mode and press Enter.
If your computer is running Windows 2000
- From the Windows Start menu, go to Shut Down and click Restart.
- As the computer restarts, watch for the message For troubleshooting and advanced startup options for Windows 2000, press F8 at the bottom of the screen.
- Press F8 before the message clears the screen.
- From the Windows Start-up menu, type the number for the Safe Mode option.
- Wait for your desktop to appear, and then make the necessary repairs (for example, uninstall programs or devices).
When the repairs are done, restart the computer, and allow it to boot normally.
Alternate:
- From the Windows Start menu, click Run.
- In the Open field, type BOOT.INI and click Ok.
- At the end of the last line, add a space and type /SAFEBOOT:MINIMAL.
- Save the file, close Notepad and restart.
If your computer is running Windows XP
- From the Windows Start menu, go to Turn off computer and click Restart.
- As the computer restarts, watch for a progress bar at the bottom of the screen. press F8 about once every second.
Immediately press F8 before the progress bar reaches the right side of the screen.
- From the Windows Start-up menu, highlight Safe Mode and press Enter.
- Wait for your desktop to appear, and then make the necessary repairs (for example, uninstall programs or devices).
When the repairs are done, restart the computer, and allow it to boot normally.
Alternate:
- From the Windows Start menu, click Run.
- In the Open field, type MSCONFIG and click Ok.
- On the BOOT.INI tab, check /SAFEBOOT.
- Click Restart when prompted.

Evo vs. Tunneler
Evocash sent us a letter wondering why over 1000 accounts had the same IP addresses (Tunnels).
They are demanding that we make an immediate statement to our members to immediately cease use of the Tunnels while at the Evocash site, until they can figure out how to handle the situation. In a sense, and understandably so, the tunnels create a security challenge for them. The scenario posed was,
Evocash wrote
“Let us give you one example, an account holder loses their password to some kind of Trojan the person who has taken it logs in and takes their money. When the account holder reports this, our security staff will first check the IP and that IP will blocked out from the
Evocash system.”
Now, we have little choice in the matter. We have agreed to advise you to stop using the tunnel. Please do not contact Evocash to complain. This is a decision that did not come lightly to them and we wish no one to cause trouble.
Our response to Evocash was as follows …..

We hope to work this all out with EvoCash and continue with business as usual. Time will tell.
In the meantime, you should immediately cease using the MetroPipe Tunneler while visiting the EvoCash site. Not to do so could cause EvoCash to suspend your account or ask you to close it.
It may also be advisable to create new Evocash accounts. If you are going to be using proxies and have a few different options, you may want to open two or three Evocash accounts, each with different proxies. In this way, as your out exchanges become larger and larger you can at least lower your overall exposure to any scrutiny from anyone that may want to take notice. When we use an ecurrency service personally, we open new accounts periodically. Sometimes weekly, certainly monthly.
We will not visit any site without some form of protection. Top choice, MetroPipe tunnel, second choice a multi layered proxy service. Those of you that feel comfortable visiting sites unprotected, feel free. Those of you that cannot, …
We recommend based on current research at this point, locating a web-based proxy service and access THAT service while using the Tunnel. This way you will have the advantages the tunnel provides, and the added benefit of an additional IP where needed.
To find one do an internet search for these words: anonymous surfing, anonymous browsing, anonymous proxy, web proxy, private proxy. Stay away from FREE proxies as they are frequently used by spammers and fraudsters and you do not want to be associated with those types. We will continue to research alternatives and make our research available on an ongoing basis.
