How come Stormpay is classed as a scam?
Is it purely down to 12dp?
I've got money in there that is fairly hard to get out coz I'd need a US bank account AND SS numbers and I'm not a US citz. But apart from that they seem fine?
Should I be looking to get the money out asap?

For purpose of this forum users SP as as good as dead. It does not pay and cannot be used for the programs discussed here. There is also a popular opinion that they are Scam... If I were you I would not use them even if just in case...

Why would you need a SSN and bank account? Are they really asking for that now?? If they are, that's pretty shady.

yes they are fine as long as you play buy the rules...Their rules...not what you would like them to be but the rules scampay wants to use.
The big deal happening here is most have bent or broken the rules and have been caught or soon to be caught..some have been caught between the cracks and are punished by association.
Bottom line is it is scampays business and they have rules they want to run it by...if you don't like the rules then don't use them..simple as that.
But yes, they filled a gap that many people wanted...but too many have cheated them so party is over

Yeah, they're always trying to bend the law to fit "their rules". They don't even have a license. They're as shady as they come.
But since they don't pay anymore, it really doesn't matter. Most people here are here because they were scammed by StormPay, and are trying to get refunds.

Correct and that is because I know it spells trouble to tie my bank account to my online activities...that is why e-gold was invented

Stormpay is classed as a scam because they stole between $50 million - $400 million from their users, amongst other crimes.

And your proof is??????????? or do you just rely on pure stupidity alone? StormPay didn't still anyone's money because it is frozen by the regulators. Show me something Storm. Has StormPay been shut down or is it just your hope that they would be shut down? Has PayPal or E-Gold been shut down?
Come back when you have more information or proof.
