I might not be the best person to help you but I can suggest you few things.

Compounding : Personaly, I prefer not to use it before I get back my principal (if principal is not returned) because I can minimize this way the chance to lose everything. When I've got my principle back, I usually compound at around 50%.

Lose principle? : It depends how you see it... because in a way you get it back at the end. If you invest 10$ for 100 days @ 2% daily, after 50 days, you "get your principal back" and the next 50 days are pure profit. So, in a way, the best thing to do is to invest in a program where you "get your principal back" quickly.

Good programs? : Since I don't know any good programs where you don't lose at all your principal, but I know one where the chances of losing it are small (I think). It is called Trade-Money.info. The period of the investment is 2 days and you get 107% of your investment back (invest $10, get 53.5% the next day ($5.35) and another 53.5% the next day after (another $5.35)). I strongly suggest this site since the experience I'm having with this program is great. But you must remember that HYIP can close at any time so make sure to withdraw as much profit as you can.

Hi wcas1946, welcome to talkgold. Firstly, I must warn you to stay away from HYIPs. They are scams or ponzis. Some people will tell you that 99% of them are scams, but that's not really true. That percentage is more like 99.999999999%. Literally, about 1 in a 10,000 HYIPs is not a scam or ponzi, and chances are, you won't find that 1 here. Your best bet is to head over to the Forex thread on this forum, which can be found here:

Read up, then either find a good trader to run a managed account for you, or head over to babypips.com and start learning how to trade in Forex (free). If you fall for believing any of the HYIP cheerleaders here, you will soon regret it.
