How do you come to know when someone is hacking your e-gold accounts?

I read in some forums that people have been hacked in e-gold accounts? Is e-gold not that safe that it can be hacked so easily? How would come to know if someone tries to hack mine?

maybe hacker does nt change the pass .he will wait for ur egold .the PIN only receive when u setup the security in ur egold acc higher than low lever

E-Gold doesn't get hacked. It's stupid people accessing it on insecure windows PC's. A friend of mine lost $1000 a few days ago. Turns out he had 14 keyloggers on his system.
Do yourselves a favour. Download a linux livecd like Gentoo (http://bouncer.gentoo.org/?product=g...-livecd&os=x86) and access your egold with it. It just boots up in a secure, read only linux system without installing or writing anything to your hard drive.
I run linux anyway installed on my system but if you don't want to go that far, the livecd is a good alternative. Linux is immune to these keyloggers.
