Trend Analysis
This is what a lot of experienced traders use to analyse stocks, to determine when to purchase or sell them. It is based on the general movement of the stock in the past. There are short term, intermediate, and long term trends that are analysed.
I'd like to add that the trend analysis is based on the supposition that finnancial markets are move in a cyclical manner and their future movements depend on their past movements.
