In the exchange folder proxies are forbidden already so is hiding an ip from behind a firewall.

I believe this would eliminate many scams.

But how to find out legit exchangers and trustworthy people?
It's so hard, but possible.
I believe that only well known people should access this.
This helps a lot but will not stop scammers 100%
Maybe a scammer can find a way in and rip members.

It seems that many of the scams are people on IM's with information from here.
They use info they read here to pretend they are someone here.
They approach people that posted here for a particular trade.

If they could not read the TG exchange folder posts they could not do this.

Another forum hides their exchange forum from anyone not qualified to be there. They likely do not have as many IM related frauds based on info that was read at their forum.

Also maybe 50 is too low a number of posts to qualify for the exchange folder.
There has been an improvement since the 50 minimum was initiated, but maybe need to advance that. Maybe 100 posts.

Another forum does not allow access to their exchange forum until 250 posts.

Number of posts is not a cure-all either, as accounts get hacked with many posts. I think that people may be selling old accounts to others also. Seems like many old, previously inactive accounts return and then wind up scamming. Young users trust these old accounts, then get scammed.

I mentioned before that I feel that accounts without any activity for a period of time, like 6 months, should be blocked or canceled. They should not have the benefits of the seniority when they were not here. They can rejoin if they wish, starting as any new person.

Deleting the old inactive accounts would cut the scamming considerably. Do some research and you will see that I am right.
