How to Close Down an HYIP?
Hi,
as we all know, there will be a time when every HYIP has to close down. Assuming this does not happen after a week when some con artist decides to run and take all the cash with him, the reason will probably be that members just cannot be paid any longer...
How would you do that? Announce it publicly? Just shut down? Try to reimburse as many people as possible (there's the risk that some cannot be reimbursed and might take other/legal steps)?
Secondly, how do I prevent an HYIP from growing too quickly? Like the luxhyip.com guys, they're not even using a custom script, they are most definitely not licensed, they probably do not even know what FOREX actually is ;-)... But they got deposits worth more than HALF A MILLION DOLLARS!
No matter when they close down, they might get serious problems I guess!? Running an "investment pool" with such deposits, tax evasion... The list goes on and on.
Problem with disableing deposists is that many sites rely on new deposists, even if it's just for the cash flow...
Any ideas?
