Car registration within EU but outside country of residence

Hi guys,

Trying to find info if its possible to set up a company (virtual office at the most) in for example Germany or Switzerland to register a car there.

I am always traveling and hence do not have an actual address anywhere and car-registration has become quite a headache due to not having an address.

I am aware that Vanuatu closed down it's foreign car registration scheme and for Cook Islands or similar tropic locations I think the cost is too great and the hassle too much.

Hopefully someone will be able to help getting a car registered in main land Europe - Germany preferred due to the great market for new and used cars.

Some fellow PT's must have experienced the same problems...
