Project to create free HYIP script

Hello.

I have started to create a HYIP script and i'm intending to distribute it free on me website under the GNU license. Since i do not have a large experience i would like to know what features would you like to have such script. Platform will be: PHP4 and MySQL 4.1.

Please post here only valuable ideas (not just comments regarding my intention or anything that is not related with teh subject).

I will track the thread for 5 days and in couple of weeks (max 3) i will release the beta version of it.

If you can have similar features to GC that would be great!
Please start with basic features seen on GC.

its a really bad idea to distribute a hyip script for free! then every newbie can create a hyip(scam) site for free

well how about oldbies creating scams for free? and how about newbies paying to create scams? is it ok for oldbies to create scams while newbies aren't allowed ? stop them if u can.cheers

no its not ok! but its a factor that some scammers(of course not all) can be stopped with high price scripts! as you know if you want to start a reliable hyip or surf site you need to have around 1k$ for starting! if you have 1k$ you can buy easily a script lets say for 100$! but here is a thing:
- Little Johnny(14 year old) browsing the web and find this forum
- reading it a while and see that lot of people investing in "hyip"s
- he dont know what is a hyip but looks like a good business
- he saw that there is a free script....lets download it
- Little Johnny says: "Daddy I need 14.95$ for a hosting+domain and I will be rich"
- Daddy gives him a some cash
- Little Johnny starts his hyip and run away with 1k$

but just my opinion! its good to see some coders making free scripts! I'm a linuxer and love the power of open source and GNU! But my opinion is investment scripts should be: expensive

In my opinions it is a bad idea. If You create a script, try to make some money on it. Otherwise every scammer, their brother, Uncle, and nephew will be throwing up hyip scams.

GC script alike is more than enough (ofcos, minus the backdoor and bugs)

If the price is right, i might buy

(providing it is decoded... doesn't feel safe when it is encoded, never know what is inside)

We looked at using GC for a real investment club and it was OK, but what it was missing was the ability to run a fund that paid on say monthly or weekly or perhaps have option to set cycles day/month/week.. but then at the end of cycle, be able to enter the amount you want to pay the folks.

Like with a real forex program, and you pay them a % of the actual return.. 9% one month,20% next month, whatever it is.

All the hyip scripts I have seen, you have to set the % up front, how about retroactive also.

[But these other guys are right, your motive is noble to make it free.. but some things people should pay for to make them think about it and take some responsibility!]
