Notjomama? I've found his 'catalog' of information rather useful many times. Actually, I have no idea how he keeps track of all of it, but - usually there's some useful stuff in those 'cut and pastes'.
If anyone here can show me why 'outside' information, directly quoted, isn't useful, I'd appreciate it. After all, the more places that ANY information can be verified, the more accurate it would seem to be.
Maybe that's just me?

In my case most of NJM's cut and paste jobs are off point...outdated...or just plain wrong. I can only speak of C&P jobs that have been laid on me.

Maybe you could point those out for me Jim. I always like to be current. But let me remind you that news articles are archived after a time and so do some Government postings but I'm sure that you knew that didn't you? Please let me know the errors that you have referred to in the above posted.

Information gathered from other sources is very useful.

That is not the point here.

When this thread started a month ago, NJM was pulling statements from those sources and blending them into his own attempts to make a point.
His manner was the issue because in those posts he would throw 2 or 3 insults in to boot and make it appear as though they were his words.

It deminished his credability in my eyes as well as others here.

I will say since this started and a few others called him on his bluff, that his post have become more original with less blatent infringements on others writtings.

He still manages to throw in a few insults I guess becuase it's in his blood but it has lessened over this past month.

Information is a weapon.

If used in the wrong way, it could actually hurt someone that may have less insight.

It is all of our jobs to question the validity of that information.

This post is a clear example of my statement above.

If you look back on the posts by this member prior to the start of this thread, a month ago, you will see insults against others, information quoted from other sources without actually being quoted, (that's called plagiarism) and his declaration as being a super cop fighting against the very programs flashing in banners around you in this forum.

After a month or so of many here confronting him on this, you see here, a refined post, with no plagiarism and even the word PLEASE.

You can call it a personal attack if you wish.

I call it an attitude adjustment.

Something we all need once in a while I guess.
