I'd say making 2-3 thousand off ur site in ur first month is near impossible.
I hope this doesn't sound discouraging, but aim at making $1 a day first. That's
$300 a month, but it's a good start, and believe me when I say THAT in itself
is not easy to achieve.
Work towards a goal, for example, a combined earning of $500 a month from
adsense, clickbank, and paypal.

yes its with adsense and a website www.3500weekly.com is actualy starting it up for me,dont know a thing yet.at the moment where waiting for a approval from adsense.ı dont know,making $1 a day $30 amonth mmm,well ı probably wouldnt waste my time...but ı really think ı can make much more than that with a bit of logic and help.
Don't expect to make a killing within the first week, month or even year. It takes a lot of hard work, patience, motivation, and consistancy. You have to spend dozens of hours reading about SEO, learning programming techniques, and reading about how to market your site. Start out slow and reinvest any money you make into advertising, SEO, ebooks, etc.
Nobody gets rich over night unless they win the lottery.

I feel like I could run my own business, invent something, or at least after 5 years on the internet be making some kind of profit?! But if I pick up any book...I read about 1/10 of it and never get back to reading it again. I have found I can apply that example to everything I do.
