The aftermath of the rate increase 2 weeks ago could still be felt this week. Reports that are usually pretty good movers are becoming duds, good reports are reversing, and a lot of volatility can be seen on the markets recently.

We did however to end the week with a small profit of 0.4%

They have had a small profits for all the time - I'm OK with it.

Latest News from infinity shares

Steven's going to be away for a few days, and I (Christian) wont ba having much time next week because of a family emergency that I have been attending to since last week. I cannnot be there to monitor trades and do reports, and it would be irresponsible for me to trade in this current state of mind.

Steven will be back late this week, and hopefully this problem of mine will resolve (in the best light)by that time.

For those that pray, please include me and my father in your prayers.

It seems to me that Infinityshares traders need to take a short vacation (the same as me ) and to start trading with the better results.

The unexpected increase in the interests given by UK banks(BOE report) gave news traders the opportunity to rag up profits like mad. For IS this resulted in a +7% increase of the total capital. However such good reports affect the market negatively afterwards. The market became very voilent and unpredictable again after having stabilized in december until the BOE report in the second week of january. The average trader was in a loss in january because a lot of bad quality brokers froze or crashed during the BOE report. If you wanted to be in profit in january 3 things were needed : Good traders, be present at BOE report and a top quality broker, Like Oanda or IS broker(name private). If one of those 3 things were missing then january was a nightmare.

Those of you who followed our blog (check link in the top bar "Traders Blog") noticed that we had a couple of profitable trades. So im satisfied with the returns I can announce:

Result: +1.588%
Paid out as dividend: 1.436% or €0.05/share
Goes to reserve funds: 0.152%

Good Day Everyone,

Some of the members already know this, but we're still getting inquiries on the subject, so might as well inform everyone through a mass mail.

Xtian: My father has been hospitalized for the past three weeks following some complications with a tumor resection operation he had three weeks ago. He's doing well at the moment, but needs to be heavily monitored and watched.

As much as I would like to monitor the market at this time, my family is my priority and I simply can not leave the hospital at certain times to monitor important releases. As luck would have it, the reports that have moved the market recently have fallen under my "shift" and since Steven cannot monitor these reports (conflicting schedules, timezones) we have missed these trades, and rather than do half-hearted trades, we decided to let these trades pass and only monitor those that fall within our respective schedules and those that fit our criterion for "safe" trades.

Again, we both apologize for the lack of activity, and we both hope for understanding from all our members.
