Well in my humble opinion its been 5 weeks since we've found out about the "investigation".

Now perhaps you guys (PN, SD, Acc., JH, Awty) can enlighten me, based on the following facts:
81% of informal investigations are completed with-in 7 days
19% with-in 30days
(stats from the SEC)

So I would think, if it were an obvious Scam/Ponzi - the C&D would already be issued, and an "formal" investigation started, would you not agree?? Its not like the SEC is gonna say "oh you've scammed 20 Million, but we'll just wait another month or so b4 we get a C&D order" I would think at the first sign of a scam the C&D is issued almost immediatly, not 8 weeks later.

The longer the investigation goes on, the more likely that CEP will be okay.

As I understand it, SEC registration can take anywhere from 60 to 150 days, and I think that is what they are waiting for now. You can bet that they will not resume operations till everything is in place.

Either that or the two 20 something year old con atrists (lol) are so good at hiding the money trail that the SEC can't figure out its a scam or not??

Well, one MIGHT consider that 'some' apparently consider 'cep' to be an 'EXCEPTION to the 'fact' that all 'programs' like this are scams.
Is it just possible that it might be 'exceptional', in other ways, as well?

So if I'm reading between the lines correctly, are you considering the fact that CEP could be legit? or that the paper trail is well hidden? LOL only one cup of coffee yet this morning

I am not posting here to hurt people. I just think you have to accept the reality that this could be a Ponzi scam (I am sure it is, but no need to agree with my certainty). Those that accept this possibility should then seriously consider taking immediate legal action against CEP. The first to do this are likely to get their funds out; the rest are far less likely to (in fact I doubt they'll see more than a few cents in the dollar, if anything at all).

If people take this on board and get their cash back I'll have helped those smart enough to take my advice.

We have not heard much back at this point regarding the investigation, but I did call our attorney earlier today to see whether he had an idea as to how much longer this process might take. He thinks that it may be at least a few more weeks. We are still working hard behind the scenes to do everything we can. We, too, are part of the waiting game that all of you are a part of, and I promise we do not enjoy it, either. ;-) Know that we are thinking about each of you as we do our best to work all of this out. So PN and Accontant.. no commments to my previous post? I am somewhat dissapointed!

Why has no C&D been ordered?? Surely an obvious Ponzi on US soil would not be tolerated for a minute.

Now I'm not saying we're out of the woods yet, but the longer it goes, the higher the chances CEP is on the up n up.
