depends on the actual CHANCES of getting 500$ to 2500$. your information is insufficient to make the decision. for example, if it would on average take 3000$ to get 2500$ out of the game then it would be stupid to play.
obviously the system is going to take in more money than give out as normal with gambling.. so... you might just as well be asking if people would like to play roulette, dice or blackjack...
Would I be willing to risk $1 for $2500? Nope. You know why... because I don't play the lottery, nor do I think that the admins of the site would make enough $1 sales (including transaction fees being subtracted) to actually profit off of giving a $2500 prize.
So, I'd be better keeping my $1 and putting it toward a program I thought would work. Just MHO.
