Trojan Warning !!!!!

Hi all,

This post to prevent you for a new trojan (a rootkit) Troj/LdPinc-LZ detected by Sophos (http://www.sophos.com/security/analy...?_log_from=rss) the 28th June 2006.

I had this trojan. It's very dangerous. Here is what it can do :
- Allows others to access the computer
- Steals information
- Drops more malware
- Downloads code from the internet
- Reduces system security
- Records keystrokes
- Installs itself in the Registry
- Monitors browser activity
- Monitors system activity
- Enables remote access

It can get your egold password and steal your money.... See these posts I have found in a forum (http://www.sysinternals.com/Forum/fo...418&PN=1&TPN=3)

If your PC reboots often... You probably got it.....

Verify your PC. Search for files : MSSYNC20.EXE and MSSYNC20.SYS in c:\windows\system if you are under windows of course.... These files are Rootkit... You have to remove them. But its are hooked... So you have to reboot in safe mode (F8 at boot) find and destroy these files.... or unhook with an utility and destroy them.
