Uh huh... very interesting, except that what you're talking about has nothing to do with the possible changes to JP-Daily that are under discussion there.

Yes this has a lot to do with the changes we are talking about and why possible changes....

We have now implemented a $100 minimum investment into Jp-Daily and have removed the trial investments promotion.

As well as this, we are going to begin cashing out our smaller investors by returning their investment balances to their e-gold account. (No fees are deducted during the cashout - so a free withdrawal).

Once everybody is cashed out (who has less than a $100 investment balance) we will tidy everything up. Implement a slightly new way of showing the accounts - but will be more or less the same. The referral program has been put on hold as a temporary measure. Just to reduce workload during this transition. We will resume the ref program once we have cashed out all the small investors. But for the time being its simply OFF.

That is pretty much it. Things will all become clear over the next week or so as we remove the smaller investors. But daily returns will resume as normal in the mean time.

*If you are a smaller investor (sub $100) then its probably not worth your while making a withdrawal request this week, as you're going to get cashed out (for free) over the next few days anyway. So no point you wasting $1+3% in requesting a withdrawal. You can if you like, but not really worth wasting your money over.

these are not possible changes but it is implemented already.... within 24 hours.... first we are told that we have to think about possible changes and after just some more than 12 hours the changes are implemented....

Shipdit is right when you have about 200 members started with a free dollar and only three of them will go with the new minimum they all pay $99 dollar...
They will pay 297 dollar to JP and JP paid $200 for those members (if he pays out the free $1) so that is a nice profit.... This is only about 200... when we do this for all $1 and other low level members????

Well at this moment I would say those changings are going much too fast...and that just before Christmas.... But when JP is really paying all members that don't have that $100 to have it at risk in this program, and they have their total cashbalance in their Egold this week ... than he is doing as he promissed....

When he pays all people that are below $100 and those who would like to withdraw their money now (as they might not like such sudden changings) ...All people still in this program after a week with their accounts at or higher than $100 know where the risks are ... voluntairly take that risk and should not complain later ....

It takes some details of the changes and spins them into an improbable narrative to justify an earlier unproven claim. That's as close as it gets.

No, actually, "arbitrary" is the wrong word for it. "Convenient" is better, since the hypothetical number of people used to illustrate the example has been chosen deliberately to support the thesis.

The stated purpose of it according to Richard is to reduce managerial overhead - time, as the distributions are run manually - and reduce the pool of individual participants to those who understand the system better (I underlined individual in that paragraph because apparently there will be a pool created for people who do not want to commit $100).

So now we have his words versus the basher's words, and both claiming theirs to be the truth. So far, the bashers only have assumptions to show for all of this, and Richard has results. Add in a little risk management on your part, and there's gains to be had; what then was the benefit of listening to the bashers?

Finally, complain all you want about the time in which the decision was proposed and then made, but the fact of the matter is, it's Richard's program so it's Richard's decision. You can pull your funds from the program if you don't like it, but how the thing is structured and run is up to him.

I don't think Richard cared at all about any investor input he was just playing the new "role" he is as JP. He has this all planned out, and I don't think he implemented one single suggestion by any of the members. I'll be happy to have my payout.

Two points:
1) SnS on the JP forum ran some statistic: There are over 3100 accounts, and over 2000 of them have balances of $5 or less. I would suspect that most of those 2000 accounts were on the $1.00 promotion (I know mine was).

2) I put in $.03 into this program just before his break. Yesterday I was cashed out $1.02 into e-gold (with no fees). You can't complain about that rate of return!

I put $0.03 in on the 25/11 & a further $10 on the 27/11, received $12.49 back on the 14/12, so cant complain.

I would have liked to have stayed in and built up my stake, but its not to be.
