e-Gold exchanger PaysGold.com requires ID?...
Okay I wired $212.51 into PaysGold.com bank account (US to China) on Thursday, but now their saying that they need a copy of my driver/government ID and a wired money receipt. I use NetBank so I'll send them a screen picture of the transaction.
But is it true that they need ID or are they scamming me since they also said they still have not received any money? Help! I have been trying to fund my new e-gold account and so far its been hell...
[Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.]

Re: e-Gold exchanger PaysGold.com requires ID?...
Over the past several years, the popularity of online currency trading has grown substantially. Each day, online FX brokerage firms attract new investors - each of them lining up with a glint in their eye, lured in by promises of easy money. Most of these companies allow you to sign up for a free demo account which lets you place mock trades using their trading platform to get a feel for the excitement of currency trading. In the casual world of free demo accounts - many young traders find they are able to garner impressive profits without a significant amount of effort. It almost seems too good to be true. But transferring this success from a demo account to a real account is far less common. Why is this? The actual trading platform behaves the exact same way, the market doesn t care whether you re a demo or real trader - so what is different? It s you who has changed. Not your personality, not even your trading style - but the factors that affect you are different.

Re: e-Gold exchanger PaysGold.com requires ID?...
I've seen a lot of paysgold (member) ad's in this forum...but i think he doesnt have a trader rating, you should ask someone if they have used this company or this personal exchanger, im not sure who he is...
As i see, he has been registered for a while here, should be reliable...Why can't you send him your Passport ID ? It's just a copy, i doubt he'll steal your identity. Just do what the company requires and if such sh*t will continue, just report your local police department. Try to scan his website (if he has one) and find who is it registered to, it shouldn't be hard to put him under the bars, i think. Good luck solving this inconvinient situation... I recommend you to use ice-gold.com (ICEGOLD). It has been found in like 1998 or something, 100% reliable but a bit slow, takes about 1 week to withdraw e-gold, and i only used it for this, so i dont know about the funding fees, but as withdrawal fees are only 2% i think funding should cost a lot.

You can see a most recent reply about IceGold by gorion83.
He sent a bank wire and received his e-gold within 2 or 3 days. Another proof

Still at this moment i use IceGold. I send often times bank wire (buying e-gold) from germany and got within 3 days my e-gold balance. Only 2% fee.
Selling e-gold is about 2% + 21 € to bank wire in germany.
But in the next days i will test www.goldexchange.eu for selling e-gold an transfer to bank wire for only 0.5% + 8€ to germany bank.
