Re: TalkGold is going slow... Agree?
I'm led to believe TG is now a cluster of servers to keep up with demand, the database is kept on a single machine. Database errors are likely the single database machine is struggling to keep up with demand.

Re: TalkGold is going slow... Agree?
We basically have 2 different ddos hosting accounts with two different companies. If there is a problem with one we switch to the other, and vice versa. Both are set up as clusters (multi server). The other day we had problems with Prolexic blocking out certain ip ranges and so we switched it to the other package. As with DB errors they can be caused by a variety of things. Shouldn't be happening frequently though.

Re: TalkGold is going slow... Agree?
I'm not sure if this is related to this, I'm having problem with the searching page. Not sure what it mean which I never had seen this type of error before.
"Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request POST /forum/search.php.
Reason: Error reading from remote server"
Every time I refresh the page or close/open the browser, it didn't stop the error coming up.
