Google mail crash: millions of users across the world affected
Millions of Google mail users across the world have been unable to access the service for several hours, the company has confirmed.
Google did not say what the cause was and added that it would endeavour to provide an update with details on when it expects to resolve the problem.
Both the email and instant chat facilities were experiencing problems on Tuesday, with the majority of users reporting difficulties from around 8.45pm.
David Besbris, Engineering Director of Google, apologised for the inconvenience on the official Gmail blog.
"We know many of you are having trouble accessing Gmail right now – we are too, and we definitely feel your pain," he said.
"Because this is impacting so many of you, we wanted to let you know we're currently looking into the issue and hope to have more info to share here shortly.
"We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience and will get Gmail back up and running as soon as possible."
He added that users who had IMAP or POP facilities set up should still be able to access Gmail.

Yep I had trouble earlier, but it was only for about 10 minutes then it was fine.

What about the search engine Sunday night/Monday morning? I was getting weird results when I was looking up Wench Muffins, and a lot of paid to read programs came up showing that they are connected with the WMN, and when they are not. When i clicked on the links, I was taking to a page saying the host suspended the accounts when they were not hosted by them.
