It is, but that's pretty much the standard MO with mods in other parts of the TG forum. I've seen people get a warning for one post, then get banned for asking why they were warned, but that's another story.
My question...
Is this rule TG-Wide, or only in the exchange section?
I`d be very interested to know where you`ve seen a member being banned for merely asking why they`ve been warned. I`ve never known it.
The rule re no exchange info in signatures is forum wide, not just in this folder.

Up in the other ways to make money with your web site section. It was a few weeks ago, so I forget the guy's name, and they also deleted the post where he was asking so I can't look it up for you. But rest assured, it most certainly did happen. The moderation in that area (web site money and general investing) is very inconsistent. I see some people get warned for simple things, while other people are openly violating to posted advertising policy without any red marks at all. If you're going to tag one person's account, the same rule should carry across for everyone.

Thanks for the clarification. This is good to know, and I wasn't previously aware of it.
#10) Members who do not qualify to use the Exchange Folder may not try to circumvent the rule by PMing other members asking for exchanges. If any member is found to be PMing other members who don`t qualify by the 50 day/50 post rule will be subject to warning, or even banning.
