I really should not get into the political areana here, but people's votes have been mislead and wrong before. The votes now are against Bush's actions, but that don't seem to matter to him.
I have great respect for our men in uniform. To bad they have to follow Bush's lead. That is why no one is signing up now. It is not about courage or lack of. It is about intelligents. The military is only as good as it's leader.

About your courage/intelligence remark. If it weren't for the courage/intelligence of the military, we would be the United States of Great Britain....or we would be speaking german right now. The courage and intelligence of our all volunteer military to carry out the mission has kept people safe since the beginning of our history. Yes Jimmy and Noloss are bonafide cowards, because they don't have the guts to serve.

We have 18 year olds saving and feeding children around the world and the idiots have the nerve to call them stupid?

The stupid people are the ones that talk badly about the government and military and don't have the guts or intelligence to do anything about it.

In both the wars you quoted, your country sat on the sidelines and only joined in when they could see who was going to win. Before committing themselves they sold weapons and equipment to both sides. Does that make you feel proud? In both wars you claimed that your country won the war. Without mentioning that many brave men and women were fighting for their freedom while you and your countrymen were counting their profits.

Perhaps you would like to say something about your more recent wars. Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq. What kind of success rate have you had there. I would say zero. With an adviser like yourself, that doesn't surprise me.

I also think that just because someone does not join the military does not make them a coward. Some can't join. Some should not join. Some are to old.
Ok, I am really gona get blasted on this one. I don't think women should join....eeeekkkk...why? Some women are strong enough. Some women may even be better than some men. Maybe it is just me, but the way we were raised.
If a woman is in battle with men, is it not natural instincts for the men to be more protective of the women. Would this not distract them from their job?

Our country didn't want to get involved in a war that had nothing to do with us. Your country couldn't even stop a small military such as germany. It took the USA to enter both wars for you to even have a chance. You'd better thank us for saving the british pound and the Queen. So tell me, is your country that weak?

Which wars have you won in recent history?
