Well, I registered to MCF & finally went on today since it seems to be the talk of the town.

Now, I am not attempting to compare forums because TG is obviously very different than MCF. I think anyone who's been would know e-r-r...what I mean.

I was dissapointed. I was hoping for a little more substance; a bit more free thought. Doesn't have to be any bashing, mind you. Just something more substantive than the musings at a church ice cream social.

Was hoping to actually learn and get more information; have actual discourse about P2P. Hence, what I've learned is that they are just as whipped as the ASA crew b/f they got a bit independent, left the Borg and they shut it down.

Oh, well.

I see absolutely NO difference b/t MCF and the chat (general discussion) forum withihn P2P site.

Anyway, a-h-h-h.... Clear air, breathing room....

Okay I havent been paying attention. So what happened? Did P2P finally crash?looks like the last payment was recived on Oct 23 from a request on july 9

Members are waiting for a supposed "update" that will give them what they are hoping for. "nick", as hewants to be known, appears to be AWOL; Gary is "sort of back", Chris is playing a bit nicer and has left an update from his prevous update that another update will follow this update about a future update without actually saying anything in the actual update.....

Looks like a gonna.120+ days behind and no payments anyway for weeks.

MCF is just the P2P private forum minus the "updates" from Nick... it has always been highly censored I used to play a little game where I would post straight forward questions in there and see how long they would last before the post was removed there was a time last winter anything I posted in there was gone within five minutes... you will get nothing from that place but a bunch of very nervous scared of their own shadow members praying (literally) for the best.

I have to admit I was willing to give Jake from ASA the benefit of the doubt, he PM'd me in MMG and asked if I would be willing to come to his forum as he felt I was being even handed in my assesments and the questions I asked. I ignored him at first then finally after reading a bit in his forum decided to join.

Many people here and in other places claim he is a massive scammer himself but I had no history with him so I was going in with an open mind, but I have to say the locking of that thread so soon after Chris made his insults threats and personal attacks sure looks bad for Jake's being impartial..

More so due to the MOD that locked it claimed they would not allow OTHER forums to be attacked.. yet she only said that after someone insulted the P2P private forum... prior to that there had been literally dozens of posts insulting TG and MMG but it seems that is ok...

I obviously don't care one way or the other but it's too bad if Jake really was trying to turn over a new leaf it sure doesn't appear that way with him allowing this action to stand in his forum... sure stop the personal attacks, but closing a thread because someday said something about a private highly censored forum, that TONS of people have come and acknowledged to be true... I find that pretty lacking...

Oh well it's Jake's board to do with as he sees fit.. that's the bottom line but it is a shame that the cheerleaders have such control over him.

Perhaps there is a lot of money in p2p and he still has hope to get them.
Of course this is not an excuse, and I think at least silly to put themselves at the mercy of the scammers. People who control public resources should not put ourselves in this situation.

I have always questoned Jakes motives and that of asa. I only reposted the same words about the p2p private forum that surfergal posted about talkgold being the swamps. There was no reponse from the mod until my post was made. I guess now I know why okosh calls him jake the snake. Dont know all the details but it sure looks like he is right.....again
Sounds to me they only wanted your input there KNOWING it would drive up traffic. Just my opinion....and thankfully one can have that here at TG.
