In fact I visited my program thread in another forum and saw that my members posted their e-gold history in thread. Forum moderator stopped them to post their e-gold number and batch numbers. Then this question came into my mind that what is the reason beyond this i.e. hiding e-gold and batch number.

I am thankful to everybody for their input in this thread.

As far as I know its perfectly safe to post batch numbers publicly. However if you have a weak password on your e-gold it may not be advisable to throw your e-gold account no. to possible thieves

Always keep e-gold's AccSent to maximum security. Can be quite annoying but effective.

I think it is completly safe to post your e-gold account number and batch number. Just have your AccSent set to max, and all is well. And even if its not set to max, just have a good long password.
