IMHO , i'd go for Nod32 as it provides me with the least false positive virus detection and most of the other "top" brand that I have tried, I felt irritated with the nonstop warning that appeared.
I use some free av like AVG home. I think it powerful enough to treat the malware as long as I keep the database stay up to date. I ever used NOD32 too, it more better than AVG

According to me, AVG Antivirus is the best because it detects mostly all the Virus if update it regularly.AVG AntiVirus is really a nice Antivirus i using it from last 2 years, no problem of virus and it don't crate any problem with my PC run speed....
